About The Arranger

Tom LaJoie is a native of Charlotte, NC. He began his violin studies at the age of 10 in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System. Upon graduating from high school, he studied violin performance at Winthrop University receiving a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance. He received his music education degree from UNC Charlotte and his Master of Arts in Education Administration from Gardner-Webb University.

Tom retired from a successful career as an orchestra director after 28 years with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.

Tom has several arrangements of Haydn, Vivaldi, and Mozart published with Kjos Music and Alfred Music Companies. Many more of his arrangements are available here and at J.W. Pepper.
